I'm pretty sure you only get deported if:

A. You commit a crime (felony) in the US, whether here legally or illegally.

B. They catch you crossing illegally.

I don't think you get deported if you're illegal and caught driving without a license, etc.

I could be wrong, but that's what it seems like to me.

Yeah they don't deport for minor reasons seems like to me.

But I'm curious if they count people as deported when the judge says "you're getting deported, show up on June 30th" or if they count when they actually leave.
