Well I didn't mention the immigration situation as a good thing. I used that as an example of a fabricated scandal. If you haven't been paying attention immigration has been FUBAR in this country for decades. This didn't just magically start in January 09. In fact, it was Saint Ronnie that first granted amnesty in the 80's. I only brought it up to discredit the meme that Obama and his DOJ don't enforce immigration laws when in actuality deportations are up since he became president. Now, is he and his DOJ enforcing ALL of the immigration laws to the fullest extent that they are written? Of course not, but then no other president before him did. But like I said earlier, since it's Obama with a D next to his name, the buck stops with him and he MUST be held accountable for the immigration problem in this country according to the Republicans.

Conveniently forgotten by many when discussing immigration.

They've just changed the definition of deportation.
Secondly, do they count someone as "deported" when they are judicially ruled to be deported or do they count them deported when they are actually, physically deported.

The immigration problem and the meme that he doesn't enforce the current laws when there have actually been more deportations under his presidency than any other.
