It's kinda funny.
The way some of y'all feel about the SEC is very similar to the way many of us feel about--and catch hell for--the state of Texas.
As for what others outside of the SEC think about the lists, articles, etc. ... it's easy to focus on what you're interested in and to avoid other stuff. Things don't feel as SEC-centric to non-SEC people.

Agreed, ... plus, they're just jealous.
I think most non-SEC fans are probably fairly liberal as well. They believe that some new laws and rules should be passed that forces us to share the wealth. They perceive the SEC as having an unfair advantage in many respects and that the rich are only getting richer in that regard.
The rest of the college football world, and we should all be willing to admit this, probably believe that the SEC is the evil 1% of the college football world.
