It's not our fault these teams decide to be awful a couple year's after we schedule them.

We played Michigan the year after they won the Sugar Bowl and I think they ended up like 7-5 that year.

Va Tech has been one of the strongest programs in the country the past decade and they decided to all of sudden get terrible the year we played them.

Our cross-division rival falling off the face of the earth doesn't help.
