of course every school has transfers. However, those two guys were 4 star recruits. You typically don't see too many 4 star recruits just transferring all willy nilly and after only one season or two. Typically when that happens it's because some recruiter had sold them a dream and they found out otherwise.

Can't speak for what happened with the UT kid, but I think you might be reaching a bit on Langley. Yes, he flipped from Carolina during the recruitment process and that may be clouding your judgement somewhat. I think saying that Langley was sold a dream is a bit far fetched. He and Quincy Mauger were recruited together by Todd Grantham; and Quincy has adapted just fine to Pruitt's defense in the transition and will be a solid starter for the next few years. Brendan did not adapt as well and was moved to offense where his minutes diminished due to lack of playbook knowledge and just having too many athletes ahead of him. With the WR's currently committed, the writing was on the wall for him and he knew it. Can't see anything in that situation that screams he was sold a "bill of goods" that didn't come true. I hope he does transfer to USC and has a good career, because he deserves it. He is a great kid. Just think he thought he would like to play in Grantham's defense and never really liked Pruitt's.

Langley started as a freshman and proceeded to get torched. If he was promised a chance at playing time he got it. If he would have played well he would have never been benched but he couldn't keep up with outside receivers. So we moved him around to try and use him but he hasn't been able to regain a position. Quite frankly, he just wasn't good enough.
