They would still have the same coach.

LSU should be right up in the top 3 of this league on talent, but their coaching is something terrible.

I feel for their basketball fans.

I've heard this story somewhere else, I'm sure of it.

Part of it is coaching, the other major part of it is lack of depth. We are only comfortable playing 6 guys extended minutes:

Mickey
Martin
Hornsby
Quarterman
Patterson
Gray

After that it's a grab bag of who can eat up 10 minutes and not play like complete crap between Bridgewater, Malone, Epps and Odo. Who admittedly outside of Odo are all young guys, but when your real rotation is only 6 players with 4 receiving 33 minutes or more a game, you're going to have inconsistencies due to guys just being worn out.

Arkansas, Ole Miss and Texas A&M all don't have this problem. Arkansas rotates 10 guys, Ole Miss rotates 9 guys, A&M rotates 10 guys. Makes a big difference. Hopefully next year we will have 9 guys to rotate between:

Martin/Mickey - assuming one returns
Simmons
Blakeney
Victor
Hornsby
Gray
Patterson
Quarterman
Malone/Bridgwater/Robinson/Epps - one steps up

Could have as many as 10 contributing players
