He also ignored 2013. Those years just didn't fit his agenda.
My point is that Gus offenses can be stopped. 2011 is a great example of this. Aubs were trying to argue that his schemes are unstoppable, so I was simply pointing out that is not the case.
Gus is a great offensive mind, but his offenses can be beaten. Saban is a great defensive mind. His defenses can be beaten. See how that works?

Well no shite, their 11 team lost a lot compared to 10.

Of course his offense can be stopped. Especially with an entirely new OL and that shitshow of QBs we trotted out there in 2011. Not to even mention the restraints out on him by Chizik.
I assume Saban's defense isn't so effective with no talent either.

Clint Moseley and Barrett Trotter had to replace Cam Newton. Auburn also had to replace 4 starting offensive linemen (Lee Ziemba, Ryan Pugh, Byron Isom, and Mike Berry), Darvin Adams, Terrell Zachery, and Eric Smith. Did I mention that AJ Greene and John Sullen were two of the guys replacing offensive linemen? They sucked.
The scheme is what lead Auburn to winning 8 games. Without Gus Malzahn's offense, I don't want to even think of the offensive production.
