Overtown and liberty city are the two really bad areas in Miami. Some parts of Miami gardens are sorta bad, but overtown and especially liberty city are terrible.
White people do not go into liberty city period. Pork n Beans is possibly the most dangerous project in the U.S.
Overtown is about 3 miles east and a bit north of the old orange bowl. Liberty city is about 4 miles north. I made the mistake of missing the turn to 95-N after a Marlins game last year and ended up having to go through part of liberty city at night. I was legitimately concerned.
