It just hit me though..............Could ESPN black out the games on the "Watch ESPN" app based on which cable provider you subscribe to?

I'd bet they can and will. I've never quite understood the difference between ESPN3 and "Watch ESPN", but it seems to get jerked around all the time and I'm sure any advantage non-cable subscribers potentially see now will be snuffed out by the fall by our ESPN/Disney/Connecticut overlords.

UPDATE: Rocket has recently quit his job at Plant Vogtle & has moved to Myrtle Beach to live with his grandmother. He assures me that he will be ready for, Live from Jaco's... I think it's part of his process.

You realize that they'll black out SEC Network games if you sign into the app with xfinity, right? The app is linked to your cable provider and I think they already said they're blacking the games out for non-carrying providers.

Face-Melter Idea: Bring Rocket's grandma along too! Attach a side-car on to Rocket's motorcycle for her to ride in. And she'll wear a USCe helmet, of course.
Probably a long shot to pull off. Either way, we will roll with the punches no matter what happens.

Rocket will be there and I willl be leaving for Columbia, SC around 9/10AM.. the broadcast could start at any moment under your command but I would reccomend a couple of early updates and then increased coverage as anticipation builds an hour or 2 before the game...

I'm hoping CrispyDawg or CNB or one of those guys can get some footage of a loading dock tailgate for the opening promo.. kinda like the cameramen for the Masters do when they are filming a butterfly landing on a leaf and such

How about I put up the thread in morning/mid-day? It would, of course, be in "Off-Air" status ready for you to take it Live whenever you feel like it. Kind of like how the SEC Network was before 6pm last Thursday.
People might gather in the thread ahead of your appearance. The buzz builds. They offer their support and well wishes to you on your journey. "When's this thing get started?", some might ask. Or........"What the frick is this shite?". You know, that type of thing. Then.........KABOOM!..........You take it Live, from Jaco's - 08/28/14. And the magic happens.

I've been trying to think of a way to involve Texas A&M fans as well ... figure there is a perfect storm scenario brewing..
