That was in 5A, Shiloh is dropping back down to 4A, IIRC.

They only have to play up one classification from their 'real enrollment' classification don't they? So did enrollment drop or had they thought they could compete 2 classifications up?

One classification up from actual enrollment, which is when they were moved to 3A from 2A.
I believe there is a rule about having teams move up if they win so many state champs in a time frame too.
Pinebluff Dollarway use to fluctuate a lot dropping down or moving up several times a decade as well, but they use to compete from 3A-4A back when there was still a 4B classification and 5A was the largest classification.

Yes, we are going to have to play them again, but since our new stadium we have had more kids come out for football.

They originally were forced to play a 3A schedule while still being in 2A. Their conference refused to play them any longer so our conference had to play them instead my senior year.

Shiloh has really struggled lately. Everyone in the state now runs mostly hurry up offenses. Tosses the rock around, etc.
That's what's actually hurt them, IMO. Kids these days defend the pass much more in practice than they used to. It's not a shock/surprise any longer.
Floyd and Shiloh have literally taken arse beating the past few years from some schools. It took schools a while to catch on, but now they have. They've given up 50 points quite a few times the last few years.

Given that they have facilities more like a 7A program and trainers and everything else, those results are rather shitty.

Pretty sure I've never said anything negative at all about your actual school.
And in reference to my earlier post that said something to the effect of I wish you aubs weren't here- it's true, but I'm perfectly happy with the way this board is run and have no problem with the democratic way of allowing you here. Our mods are awesome (ex. they got rid of the shitstick au21tigers in a jiffy). I was simply talking my personal 'druthers- my own utopia if you will.
Have a pleasant Friday.

His daddy is Ronnie Floyd, the uber Jesus of Cross Church and founder of Shiloh Christian. He might be the slight beneficiary of a tiny bit of nepotism.
I don't share all the Aub hate. But frick all the Shiloh shite.

Also, looking back I don't think any kids from Shiloh ever had any real success at the college level.
One kid went to Kansas State and had issues with a bad batch of steroids that sent him crazy and missing for a week.
Frazier is at OBU now?

Crosby Tuck looked like he would be a good player for us, but then had a career ending injury.
There was a QB who set all kinds of records at a DII school in Missouri, couldn't beat out Alex Mortsonsen here.

If the school he's going to has a larger talent pool than most other schools he plays he will be successful.
On a side note he's not quite the prick his father is. Armani Ronnie needs a beatdown when it comes to his manners when it comes to eavesdropping and conversation insertion.
