I still have my money on Superman to pull it out against the best defense to ever play the game. He's just that damn good.

I'm sure I won't surprise anyone with this response, but both 2011 Alabama and 2011 LSU would beat 2010 auburn, and the point differential would be double digits.

2011 LSU defense was better, 2011 Bama was just better overall on Jan 9th.

Fun hypothetical. The greatest individual talent I've ever seen vs. the greatest defense I've ever seen. Would love to see that one.
No consensus will come from this thread. I think all AU fans think Cam finds a way to pull it off and all Bama fans think the D would find a way to stop him.

Cam would definitely make some big plays against the 2011 defense but theres no doubt that the 2011 Bama team was by far the more complete team. People forget that Auburns secondary was straight garbage that year. I'll take the 2011 Bama OL vs Auburns defensive front 7 every single time. Auburn had a really good OL that year but our defense that year was down right disgusting.

If they could shut out our offense (which averaged 38 points per game), then I don't doubt Bama's '11 defense would have thwarted Newton too.
