We've been winning the in-state recruiting battle since 09. While we haven't always gone head to head with Clemson for the top talent, we've been getting the best of the best in our state since 09. Stephon Gilmore, Alshon Jeffery, Marcus Lattimore, Jadeveon Clowney etc.

The last player I really wanted that we lost to Clemson was Latek Townsend and that was a couple years ago.

For the class of 2015 we've already got the top player in SC committed making it 6 of the last 7 years we've gotten the best player in the state.

And before any dawgs come in here and mention that doofus QB that won Mr. Football this past year, Shaq Davidson would have won it had he not been hurt, and was still ranked as the best prospect in the state.
