Father, Shawn Jefferson, played 13 years in the NFL as a wide receiver and has coached in the NFL as a wide receivers coach for the Detroit Lions and most recently the Tennessee Titans. Van was named All-State as a junior...Invited to "The Opening", an all-star summer prospect camp held on the Nike Campus

And he has a 10 listed for route running ability. That tells me he knows his craft and was well groomed.

Yeah, Van is extremely polished for a kid that has yet to even play his senior year of HS.

Jefferson doesn't have the insane measurables of a Preston Williams or the explosiveness of a Terry Godwin but he's ahead of 99% of players his age, development wise, most likely because of his father.

Great pick up for you guys and depending on your depth at WR, I wouldn't be shocked at all if he's in the 2 deep on day 1.

I still hope VOLS can pull a flipzilla with this one
