Is it because a few posters made that erroneous claim early on, and now it's become some sort of a talking point/urban legend? One of those deals where if you repeat something often enough, the masses accept it as reality?

I thought he was the shitty, overrated guy who can't coach?

He is the only consistently listed SEC coach to the NFL because of the Rooney Rule.

He has a much higher chance of being interviewed and subsequently hired because of both his race and because of Chip Kelly's success.

It's not unfathomable that he'll be in the NFL.
