Monaco was typical Monaco: Nico Rosberg wired the field to win. LINK. There's a fued with his Mercedes teammate regarding being unable to pass during the race.
The Indy 500 was relatively uneventful early on but the last few laps were exciting as was the finish with Ryan Hunter-Reay winning. LINK. NASCAR regular Kurt Busch ran 6th as an Indycar rookie then flew to Charlotte after the race to run in the Sprint Cup race.
Jimmie Johnson dominated the NASCAR Sprint Cup race in Charlotte to take the win. LINK

Indy outdid NASCAR this year. Had NASCAR thrown one of their usual conspicuous cautions in the last 5 laps it would have been one heck of a finish between Jimmy and Harvick. But with their boy out to so much of a comfortable lead that wasn't happening.
