It is really the history and setting that makes the Monaco race attractive. Being a street circuit you just can't have the level of pure racing that you get on a road course circuit or an oval so I understand, from a pure racing perspective, why it might not be as enjoyable to watch (or race on) as many of the other tracks. Monaco was typical Monaco: Nico Rosberg wired the field to win. LINK. There's a fued with his Mercedes teammate regarding being unable to pass during the race.

The Indy 500 was relatively uneventful early on but the last few laps were exciting as was the finish with Ryan Hunter-Reay winning. LINK. NASCAR regular Kurt Busch ran 6th as an Indycar rookie then flew to Charlotte after the race to run in the Sprint Cup race.

Jimmie Johnson dominated the NASCAR Sprint Cup race in Charlotte to take the win. LINK
