Read an article that said AT&T and DirecTV were expecting a 12 month review from the government, and the whole deal is kaput if NFL Sunday Ticket cannot be applied to the rest of AT&T's services. The chances of all these negotiations being finalized by August is microscopic at best.

I am sure the DirecTV is still in negotiations with the SEC Network and would be surprised if they do not carry it in August. I wouldn't really start worrying about it until mid-late July.

I read that article, too (keeping Sunday Ticket being the key).

That said, I wonder how big a dent a mass exodus of SEC region subscribers would make to AT&Ts bid numbers?

I'd think any measurable percentage should help drive DirecTV to the bargaining table sooner than later.
