Cops need to learn to chill the frick out. The job by definition will out you in tense situations. Your training should be such as to not flip out and beat a man to death after you him secured on the ground.
I just see too many stories of cops acting far too aggressive for the situation they are in. Gives good cops a bad name and illustrates the dangers of our ever increasingly militarized police force.

The main problem is the police dept and justice system won't hold cops accountable in these situations.
If cops were to be fired or even put in jail for unnecessary force then this shite would stop. Instead they get paid leave during an "investigation" and nothing ever happens to them.
Just like criminals with gun free zones, if cops know there won't be retaliation then it will only get worse
