Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, already tabbed by Les Miles as “a place where opponents’ dreams come to die” will become even more intimidating. With the end zone expansion and newly constructed upper-deck, the capacity of Death Valley increases to more than 100,000 seats. On Tuesday night, LSU AD Joe Alleva, via The Advertiser, told LSU boosters, “When Alabama comes, (their fans) will be at the top of the new stadium seats. They're going to need telescopes to see the game

Looks like you might need to figure out what one is.

Alleva seems very concerned about Alabama. Like all the time.

They're all Bama-sessed. It's pretty sad.

They should be grateful, no chance of piss balloons when no one's sitting behind you.

I don't get it. Don't telescopes help you see things that are really far away?

No big deal and nothing new. My last few games in Tiger Stadium were on the next to last row of the upper deck. Alleva exaggerates the accommodations he claims are given to visiting fanbases in Tiger Stadium. The end zone section is rather small and the rest of the fans are in the upper nose bleed sections already. Just more crying from what has become the whiniest AD in the league.

I think he tabbed it that about a week before Bama came in there and crushed his dreams..

Fixed it for the old clown. I'm surprised he didn't bitch about Alabama having a stranglehold on the telescope market.

Probably better than the 2nd row seats I had at TS in 2012. Couldn't see over the players on the sideline. But it was fun to celebrate at field level in front of all the LSU season ticket holders.

Apparently, they have prepared to watch the Bama loss from afar this season.

I'm not sure why he said this. Frankly, it seems a little crass, to me.

I'd want visiting fans to enjoy their experience with the atmosphere here, rather than the opposite....

Are the new seats going to be that much further from the field than the current seats are? I was in the corner of the upper deck in 2008 and it was easy to see what was happening. It was dark because there were no lights over there and it was extremely steep, but still had a good view.

Good thing my aunt always gets me tickets in the lower section of the south endzone. Eat shite, Joe Alleva.

The state had to come build it for you, I guess they will have to show you how to win in it as well.
