I maxed out at 275 yesterday. Anyone that works out even somewhat regularly for half a year should be able to get 180. It's not a lot of weight at all.

Many, many of JFF's plays were made by his ability to abandon the pocket and use his legs to make a great play. How effective will any new QB be with limited experience? A QB with 4.9 speed will have a difficult time using his legs to consistently improvise a successful running play.

I am certain Allen will be a good QB. Just do not expect too much too soon. JFF was a very special QB. QBs like him do not come along very often and aTm will be extremely fortunate to have two such QBs back-to-back. The odds are against that occurring.

Bench press is pretty meaningless stat to focus on for him. I'm sure the A&M staff is focusing on the things he is going to be expected to do in order to make the offense successful.

If Kyle Allen is great at reading defenses and making strong, accurate throws...then I'm willing to be they are comfortable with his abilities.

So a 5'8" (average american height) person who weighs about 150 pounds and never worked out a day in his life should be able to bench 180 pounds in 6 months?
