Why on earth does it matter what a QB benches. Most don't do heavy bench to avoid injuring their shoulder.
405 squat is not too bad for a kid that should be at Sr prom right now.

To be unbiased here, bench press has nothing to do with the throwing motion. His squat is not bad which has more to do with throwing than the big chest muscles.

Freddie Freeman when he was drafted and for his first season benched 160. The dude is huge and that's all he could bench and he is an everyday first baseman in the majors and a good one at that. Bench means very little.
