The most racist people I ever met were when I lived in the Northeast. Behind their backs, of course. A lot of Jew haters up there.

The most racist white people in the civilized world are New Englanders in my experience. It is amazing how someone could visit both there and the south and come away thinking that we're more racist down here.

The most racist people period (again, civilzed world) are blacks in Atlanta. I could go to a klan rally and find less racism than I would if I simply cross over Confederate Ave in Atlanta.

*By civilized world I mean North America, Europe, Australia and the non-third world parts of Asia.

That's not an accident. Michigan is HQ to the modern hate movements - the Klan, Christian Identity, Aryan Nation - you name it they're all up there and many Klan groups are located there. They traveled to Knoxville during a charged case expecting the South to greet them with open arms only to get run off. The surprise on their face was priceless.

Hate groups have also moved to the Northwest (Wy, Mont, Idaho, Oregon, Washington state etc) are the five main states they propose - one major group claims the US will break up and that the regions will be divided up like this: the Northwest will be for the whites, the SW for the latinos, and the South for the black people.

IOW, it's not a surprise you'll find the most active hate groups and haters in places like Michigan as well as the rural Northwest.
