Gas was cheap
Beer was cheap
Sex was easy
Men were men
Women were women
US dollar was the best currency in the world
Hamburger, Fries, Drink, and change back from a dollar
American cars looked like cars and came with all kinds of power
1 person could bring home a paycheck that paid the mortgage, the car, the wife, the kids, the pets, and still had some left to save for retirement.
Folks still said "Thank You"
You could still ride trains and eat great foods in the dining cars
Sports were cheap to get great seats did not come with "donations"
Food was home cooked and not frozen crap in the frozen food section
People ate dinner together and had real conversations with multiple generations at the table
