Motivation, from naysayers and people saying he can't due to his beliefs alone.
You don't think there are people opposed to him simply because of him coming out about his orientation?
I am not saying people who think he is too slow etc don't have their points. My point was simply that there are people against him solely because of what he stands for, and that would serve as a motivating force would it not?

First of all name the years when the Rams haven't struggled as a franchise not but a few come to my mind.
The NFL is a business first and foremost and Mr. Sam I am is by far and large not the first same sex oriented player to hit the grid iron by a long shot.
However he is the first player who approaches his employment from a circus style media frenzy and by doing so brings in a boat load of media whores focusing a rather large spotlight on everything but football and championships.
If your business model is ET it's fantastic and you win flair points but, if you are a football team focusing on the game and championships you are kicking yourself in the arse right now.
