I'm not really sure about indoctorines and stuff. I know in my pottery class, our instructor(Mrs. Powell), would have us listen to Hindu music. I don't even think she was Hindu, she just really must have liked the music.
I took a calculus class and I got into an argument with the professor over how people who were naturally good at math were also naturally bad at everything else in life. My defining argument point was that he was still stuck in the world of teaching and lacked the ability to do anything other than math. I failed that class, but not because I wasn't good at math(I was, 33 on ACT). I also won the argument, seeing as he and every other math "fanatic" are still failures and mostly stuck in the world of teaching.
In both of my english courses, we had to write short stories.
