Beer sales in the SEC

With LSU's AD stating that he sees beer being sold in Tiger Stadium in 5 or so yrs, he commented further that it is an SEC rule against it now. Which school would be the best guess to sell it first? The feeling is, apparently, once one team does it, the dam will burst & all will join in for the additional revenue beer sales will bring in. Which school will be the last?

I would say LSU would be the first and Vandy would be last.

Won't matter to me. I'll still sneak in my own when possible.
Who wants to pay 6-8 bucks for a beer?

It's an SEC rule? Always thought it was an NCAA rule. Do other conferences sell beer? Only OOC venue I've been to that wasn't in a pro stadium has been Clemson and Memphis (Liberty Bowl) and I don't recall either selling beer.

The last 4 bowl games Ole Miss has been to they have sold out beer in the stadium. Including the Cotton Bowl and Jerry World.

With the Busch family being a donator to the university, I'm sure they would be all over pushing a situation where they would be the sole beer provider to the stadium.

I can see Florida being first in SEC.
Last will probably be Missouri. Damn Yankees

It is probably an SEC rule but it's also a state law for us. No alcohol in state buildings but they get around that for Club and Suites because of a "lease".

If it weren't for being the new guys, I would say Mizzou due to the heavy Anheuser Busch influence. We're already heavily sponsored by Busch and Bud Light.

Missouri has some of the most liberal alcohol laws in the country.
And because of this. Time magazine ranks Missouri as best state to drink in

UL Lafayette currently sells it at Cajun Field. I think LSU will definitely be first in the SEC (non-premium seats).

Many years ago (about 35 actually) when K State was one of the worst football programs in the history of CFB, I went to a KState game with a girl who was in school there. They were so bad, the would do anything to get people to a game. They would let you bring a full cooler of beer to the game. Werent many people there, but lots of coolers and a good time anyway. Free beer everywhere
