In the 7th round? Yes.

Its not a valuable pick anyway and you secure his rights vs udfa market.

So he'll be able to deal with the media and backlash from cutting him, better than some of the other coaches out there?

Something to be said for this. If you would look at the guy as an UDFA you are better off picking him in the 7th round. Frequently UDFAs get higher signing bonuses than 7th rounders.

Having said that he doesn't seem like an NFL player to me, too much of a tweener. He may be able to make a long career as a special teamer but I just don't see him as being anything other than JAG.
