Just some discussion on your pro teams draft day, and for the rest of the draft.

My Impression on the Rams:

Greg Robinson @ #2 was a solid pick, hit a big need in the OL which we need, probably will slide in the guard but he's the LT of the future once Long's contract is done I would imagine.

Absolutely love the steal we got @ #13 in Aaron Donald, who was supposed to go top 10. Maybe one if not the best DLines in the NFL with Long, Quinn, Brockers, & now Donald on the line. Absolutely beast.

Alright so what was y'alls thoughts? I know we have some what, Panthers, Buccaneers, & Cowboys in here don't we?

Not a fan of the Saints trading up for a WR, we needed defense. I thought the trade meant we were going after HaHa and still think that's what we should've done, but a replacement for Sproles was needed and we sure as heck got one. Sounds like we're taking the, "Let the other team score so we can get the ball back" approach this year. It's whatever, I guess.

ETA: For the teams I causally root for:

- Panthers taking Kelvin Benjamin is exactly what that offense needs: a big, physical weapon for Cam.

- Rams taking Greg Robinson at #2 makes me happy. Jeff Fisher and Les Snead do a good job of taking care of Auburn guys.

- Chiefs took Dee Ford. Probably not the best pick for them, but Dee is a monster and I'm glad the Falcons didn't get a chance to trade up for him.

And the Browns have piqued my interest since signing Ben Tate; drafting Manziel has me intrigued. Still not sure if it's enough to make me sit through watching a game, though.

Packers fan and I'm very happy with the Haha selection. We needed him. As far as the next two days who knows. Ted Thompson is a draft wizard. I expect it to be solid but less than exciting.

Cowboys fan here.

God answer my prays and Jerry Jones did not draft Manziel, so I'm happy. I never thought it would happen, but damn all the idiots on TV talking about it had me nervous

I would have liked to see Dallas trade back, but I guess they didn't get the right offer.

Part of me also wishes we would have gone defense, and I was particularly hoping we'd get the CB out of Michigan State Dennard, but Zack Martin was a solid choice and Dallas' oline needed another body.

Now Dallas has a solid core of first round selection to work around on the oline for the next 5-10 years in Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick and Zack Martin.

As far as tomorrow goes I want to see a DB and a DT taken. Would love for Quarles to get drafted by the Cowboys in the 3rd.

Also, Dallas has 10 picks left in the draft, but 5 are in the 7th round (3 compensatory), so I wouldn't mind seeing them trade up to get another pick.

6 posts in and I'm the first Panther fan? Interesting. Good little mix of Pro fans.

Anyway, a WR was/is our biggest need so I'm happy we went in that direction, but, I don't like Benjamin. Only a 2 year player but did have a good year last year. Best game was actually against the best defense FSU played last year- 9 catches, 212 yds, 3 TDs, Crazy.

I would rather have Jordan Matthews though. I can't figure out why he wasn't projected to go higher. He is Alshon's clone in terms of size and put up very similar numbers playing against similar competition. Also, their combine stats are almost identical, its freaky actually.

Glad we got Benjamin. Our WR corps have been pathetic to say the least.

I hope we continue to draft on the offensive side of the ball. Our defense is stout.

Titans did well in getting Lewan. The O-line should be very solid this year with the addition of him and Oher to go along with Warmack. We just don't have a lot of offensive firepower to go along with it, so I'd like to see Whisenhunt go after an RB in the 2nd, but that probably won't happen.

You never really know what you're getting with first round picks by Tennessee, with the exception of Chris Johnson and maybe Jake Locker, so we'll see.

Holy shite the Falcons have had a horrible draft.

Safety and corner from Wisconsin and Purdue, linebackers from Notre Dame and Syracuse, a lazy DT from Minnesota, and a running back who falls down on first contact from FSU.

It's like the bastards are *trying* to avoid drafting SEC players.
