Ok......I guess I don't get it. Out of all the top QBs Alabama has gotten, how is a transfer QB the favorite to start? From the highlights I've seen, I don't see the appeal. Saban does have a history of taking mediocre QBs and making them overachieve, though. JPW was acquired by Saban and AJ was somewhat elite. Matt Mauk, Greg M, and Matt Flynn(top ten in high school, though) were hand picked from Saban, all won NCs. I guess we'll just have to see. I expect a running, conservative offense this year. Much like us.
