I think the poll is about as correct as any of them ever are. Auburn and FSU have a lot of returning players, plenty of talent, can they handle being the hunted instead of the hunter. Alabama returns arguably the deepest most talented team, but might be lacking in some key positions. Dismissing either of these teams is short sighted in my opinion. I will say this, the last two times Saban lost his last 2 games, he came back and won a National Championship the next year. Losing seems to motivate him and his teams. Doesn't mean it will happen again, but it doesn't mean it will not either.

Is it considered "luck" when you pay for it?

He didn't transfer to Auburn from Florida. He transferred to Blinn Junior College, where he officially became a recruit again. Auburn was recruiting him, as well as Mississippi State, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and so forth.
Junior College players are recruits...

Amen. They will keep us top 20 for SECN game though.

Actually, I'm giving him a pass right now for using "couldn't care less" properly instead of the ubiquitous "could care less."

Welcome to the SEC, where generous rankings are just part of the Platinum Entitlement Package we all feel we deserve.

Arkansas gets to play 6 of that 25 this season.
What don't kill you makes you stronger.
We will be a better football team this year, but may not win MANY more games (we will win an SEC game this year, maybe 2 or 3.)
Good things are coming down the line.

But, er, what if it does kill you...?

Guys, everything Georgia does is pure skill.
Anything thay happens bad to them is every other teams prayers answered because without that they would be the 100th time national champs.

UGA amazes me how they still manage to get such high preseason rankings when, since 2010, they've finished unranked twice and 19th once. They should be lower.
USCe should be higher, IMO.
UF shouldn't be on the list.

Alabama #2? Over Oklahoma and Auburn? I laughed.
Probably laughed at the end of 2008's Sugar Bowl too, right? Then 2009 happened. Lots of fricking giggles for me during 2009.
You?

uga has been ranked 20th in '11 & 4th in '12...
We were awful in '10(6-7) & injury riddled in '13(8-5), a year where before we got crippled we beat Final rankings #4 SCe, #14 LSU & lost to #7 Clemson by 3 & National runner-up #2 Auburn on the "tip"...

We play six also, including 3 out of the top 4, and 5 of the top 10
