Seems to me he didn't like Howland. Not sure about UCLA. I'm assuming he falls into the group of AAU players/teams/coaches that Howland pissed off. I haven't seen anything indicating he wouldn't consider them now with a new coach. If you have, would love to read it because I'd feel a lot better about our chances.

If he was asking for and granted a release wouldn't we have heard something by now?
