The owner's agreement is pretty specific about cause for a forced sell from what I have read. The specifics reign over the general reasons the League may want to push in contract law (from what "my lawyer" told me). It's dangerous territory legally and could easily open up an anti-trust can of worms the NBA likely wants no part of.

I think they don't have a choice but to try and force him to sell. The media and the PC Crowd want this man destroyed and will settle for no less. If they vote otherwise they will be set upon by the hyena pack.
