As someone who used to work in the media....yes, yes they are. The corporations that own most of the media demand they play by the PC rules so they can get business done. Sad.

Yes this white guy came running because of the double standard. But for different reasons. I personally could care less what Jay-Z does or any of the rest of the black celebs that were mentioned.

IMO they have the right to do what they did, no big deal. They have the right to their opinion, and should be free to express it in public if they so choose without fear of repercussion.

But Donald Sterling is being held to a different standard. Because of things he said in private that were recorded illegally. If the league is going to hammer him then they are going to be hard pressed to answer why they didn't hammer the others if this ends up in court.
