LSU AD Joe Alleva: Texas A&M voted to keep the permanent cross-division rivals. "That's amazing."

So have they released the way the votes went? Sounds like instead of the 11 to 3 vote that happened in 2011, it went 12 to 2.

Sounds like common sense prevailed and tradition was spared in spite of the hasty rush towards expansion.

There's nothing I'd like more than to see than a spirited LSU-A&M rivalry. The schools have similar history. Their traditions are strong and well known. They have a history that predates A&M's presence in the conference.

I'd really love to see these two teams go toe-to-toe as future "rivals" (with all the trappings that implies).

But, and I mean this in the most sincere and respectful way possible, many of the A&M fans here are starting to look pathetic.
Constant troll posts thinking you're "rustling jimmies" or that you're "in our head" are a pretty poor attempt to establish relevance.

Hadn't beat LSU in football since I don't know when.

Guess they'll try anything then.

If A&M really wants to troll LSU they should try beating them in football.

The ubiquity of the word 'troll' on this board is impressive. It will soon surpass 'smurf' in its variations of meaning.
