I have not been on the Rant since Slive's edict of non conference football games has come out.
My question is has Slive talked to these other conferences about playing them? I can see only a few schools in each conference who would want to play an SEC school. The others would say Hell NO !!
Georgia, S. Carolina, Kentucky, and Florida have those games scheduled already. But what about the rest???

If Bama and LSU can find Big 5 conference schools to play them, surely Mizzou can.

Seems the groundwork for this was lain with at least B1G, PAC, and Bevo12 conferences in recent years with the opening/early games that have been scheduled (LSU, Miss St, Bama, Ole Miss, etc). Groundwork with ACC schools has been in place because of some of the East matchups.
Agreed, this "groundwork" now probably needs to be turned into something more concrete. It's probably not a problem. If push comes to shove I can see, for example, the Big XII wanting a Iowa St to play Miss St for exposure reasons alone (works both ways).
Only hiccup could come if some of the big-5 conferences decide that they are on a 9 game conf schedule and aren't going to look for stiffer competition. New playoff format will help with that some however.

Mizzou needs to find one a believe for 2015, this year have Indiana and 2016 & 2017 already have Purdue on the schedule. Question is which big boys from the other conferences really want a quality SEC Team, would love to play tOSU, Michigan, USC etc..
