I have not been on the Rant since Slive's edict of non conference football games has come out.
My question is has Slive talked to these other conferences about playing them? I can see only a few schools in each conference who would want to play an SEC school. The others would say Hell NO !!
Georgia, S. Carolina, Kentucky, and Florida have those games scheduled already. But what about the rest???

If Bama and LSU can find Big 5 conference schools to play them, surely Mizzou can.

We can get Iowa State to play us that is not a problem.
Just wondering what the other conferences thought when they saw that.
And I do not know if LSU and Bama could get those schools to play you guys again after the arse whoppings you put on them. WVU is not playing LSU again !!!

Michigan and UF are playing in a couple of years unless they bow out.
Mizz can get in line to play Wake, Illinois, Purdue, Northwestern, Duke, Minnesota and UVA with the rest of the SEC. There's plenty of choices.
Meanwhile, we'll continue to play FSU. Talk about fair? Hardly. Bring it on though.

we've got a home and home lined up with Purdue I believe starting in 2016. I would like us to play Oklahoma though also. Iowa state NO those road trips sucked nothing to see on the way up there but truck stops, open fields and highway overpasses .

Seems the groundwork for this was lain with at least B1G, PAC, and Bevo12 conferences in recent years with the opening/early games that have been scheduled (LSU, Miss St, Bama, Ole Miss, etc). Groundwork with ACC schools has been in place because of some of the East matchups.
Agreed, this "groundwork" now probably needs to be turned into something more concrete. It's probably not a problem. If push comes to shove I can see, for example, the Big XII wanting a Iowa St to play Miss St for exposure reasons alone (works both ways).
Only hiccup could come if some of the big-5 conferences decide that they are on a 9 game conf schedule and aren't going to look for stiffer competition. New playoff format will help with that some however.

Not the ACC. They are the low hanging fruit.
Or maybe the AAC depending on the cutoff of major conference.

Mizzou needs to find one a believe for 2015, this year have Indiana and 2016 & 2017 already have Purdue on the schedule. Question is which big boys from the other conferences really want a quality SEC Team, would love to play tOSU, Michigan, USC etc..

If the AAC is one of the 5 conferences then we have a game in 2015 with Memphis that can take care of that situation.
That is pitiful if that is the case.
