I wonder if this whole thing is just to cater to GM's ego. Maybe he wants to be the first coach to literally surprise everyone at his introduction press conference.

I agree 98 but I don't know if it's ego so much as he's got a great thing going at WSU and he doesn't want that fricked up with the fanbase until he knows all I's are dotted and T's crossed.

GM signed a player to a LOI on Friday, I just don't see this happening.
