Nobody thinks Corey Grant is really 4.11 speed, but he is in the 4.2 to 4.3 range.

The dude has jets.

I will end this. Auburn does NOT have a back that could start, nor break into the rotation at Alabama. That is a fact. Backing up my statement is the reason Corey Grant is now at Auburn.

Yeah, yeah, we know Bama has the best five backs in the conference.

By the way, there isn't a player on Bama's team that I would put in Corey Grant's role in our offense and expect them to do any better than he did last year. I'll use his 9.8 ypc as a reason why.

Most delusional SEC fanbase by a longshot. But, grant is a friggin beast. He's put on a ton of muscle the last 3 years while keeping his speed. Bama fugged up on that one no matter wat they say

You are just the cutest little thing.

Too bad Auburn outrushed Alabama by nearly 2,000 yards last year while also averaging more yards per carry. All of that talent at Alabama, all of these scrubs at Auburn, and we can still display the best rushing attack in not only the SEC, but the country.

Raw stats are pretty worthless

It makes sense Auburn would lead the conference in rushing and YPC given the offense they run.

That being said, you still came up short

Name ONE back at Auburn that would start at Alabama.
Well?

It's hard to say seeing as none of our backs play for Bama. I'd bet you probably said the same thing about our backs last year.

And the one that did couldn't cut it. Mason came out of nowhere and the question pre season last year would have been legit.

I highly respect the job Mason did last year. He developed into a hell of a back and you had best hope someone fills his shoes.

He doesn't fit your offense, no. He is really good in the role that Gus puts him in. I know that's impossible for you to understand. He's not as good between the tackles as other players on our team, yet he's outstanding in the role that Gus uses him for.

He could have been used to return kicks, but could not have beaten out Christion Jones. He could have played WR but was not good enough. He could have been used like Kenyon Drake was,but was not as good as Drake.

The guy ran for 1,000 with Scot Loeffler as Auburn's offensive coordinator.
