Go read my last post, I added a paragraph.

Nice thing here is that our City Council election is non partisan. My community is a suburb of Wichita. Only a little over 12,000 residents.

Thanks Bogie, our city Chamber of Commerce went ahead and expanded to the whole metro area, so my city issues aren't big on the radar.

Las Vegas is a big city, but the city of Las Vegas (where my business is) is really kind of small.

Most of Las Vegas as the world knows it is in unincorporated Clark County, so they're the big dog in the area. For example, if you've ever been to Las Vegas and stayed in a big resort, you've never actually been to the actual city of Las Vegas.

Unfortunately, since the county is huge, that's where everything sits. Our county is just about at big as the state of Connecticut.

It's like having a small local mentality and trying to infect change at a local level. However, when it's city vs county, and everything besides the city is county, everything that is supposed to help is designed to make change in the county or metro area overall.
