He posts here from time to time. He's a better intrasquad troll than intersquad.

I think he's an LSU fan living in Oklahoma. The proper response is pity.

True story.

SC turned Marshall away twice, under two different ADs. Both McGee and Hyman told him thanks but no thanks, although admittedly Hyman did approach him towards the end of his tenure here and Marshall laughed at him over the phone.

Marshall does not work well among the big boys. He's a known prima dona with serious anger issues.

He's meant to be a basketball coach at a basketball school. So he'll probably fit better at Mizzou, given that Mizzou is a wannabe basketball school who wants to be like Kansas and all that ... good luck with that wackadoodlr.

We may actually develop a basketball rivalry - the battle of the two anger issue wackadoodle coaches in the Columbias.

Cingrats on the hire. It's definitely a feather in the cap of the conference.

Want to know why he wouldn't sign with Tennessee? Because ...

#1 It was too close to SC and he would have a hard time recruiting this region because every high school coach in this part of the country knows what a fricking nut job he is.

#2 UT is a football school and he wants to be the main celebrity on campus - the main show.

Want to know why he signed with Mizzou?

#1 Because Mizzou is not a football school.

#2 Because he gets to start with aclean slate with the HS coaches out there.

#3 Because he'll still be in the SEC East and he harbors a grudge and is seeking revenge against SCAR for passing on him so many times over the years.

Forget KY vs UF in the East, they're the 300 pd gorillas .... but this thing that is going to develop between Martin and Marshall is going to be pure solid gold epic.
