I fricking hate Bo Wallace, but he will be All-SEC and will win the Conerly Trophy...which means Bo > Dak.

Dak is more overhyped than Snead. He really hasn't done shite.

Serious answer
I think we have seen the best that Bo Wallace has to offer. Good at times, generally just ok. Pretty good wheels for a white boy.

This is Dak's year...has way more raw talent than Bo. Dak has the better year. More total yards, more total TD's. Maybe not more wins but obviously, that wouldn't be all his fault. I expect him to have a very good year.

I hate to ask a serious question here, but how is Bo's shoulder. He was pretty accurate in the bowl game, but his passes were somewhere around 6 mph.

I'd have to disagree. We'll see his truest potential this year. He'll have an entire offseason to rehab his shoulder and hopefully by the end of the year his deep ball won't be gone. If his strength is 100% he'll be a much better qb than he was last year or the year before. I don't think he'll win the heisman but he'll be the best senior qb we've had in a while.

If Bo has an improved O-line, I think he has a better year. Fully rehabbed shoulder and sufficient time in the pocket... he'll do just fine.

If Bo has an improved O-line,

Improved? Isn't the Rebs' starting RT leaving the team for Auburn's bench? I was thinking your OL would be worse than last year, not better.

State has it's own issue's with replacing Gabe Jackson and Siddoway but if either teams OL improves, I will be surprised.

He's not going to have an improved OL...

WiO and others can attest that I've called impending doom on this year's OL for Ole Miss for 2+ years now. That's not to say that it can't be patchworked into decency -- after all, that's what Freeze has done a frigging amazing job with in his first 2 years -- just that inheriting a multi-year recruiting hole at that one position(OL specific) is virtually impossible to overcome. That one spot is what destroyed what should have been a very memorable MSU 2011 season(Mullen's 3rd year) -- and I wouldn't be surprised if we're having the same discussion about Ole Miss in November.

This is his first year as starter, and you must not watch too many MSU games. He spent a good amount of last season bailing out Russell.

He's got more alpha leader genes than any QB we've had in a long frickin time too.

Don't be surprised when it happens.. Just saying.

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, is it?

Typically, "if" doesn't signal a definitive statement. Our O-line depth is up in the air... and that's being generous.

This wouldn't make you look near as cool if Golson was planning to leave

I agree with this. The only thing we can hope for at this point is some kind of resemblance to the 2012 O-line in which Freeze and co. maid something manageable out of seemingly nothing

Exactly...

And Cooper may very well "solve" the problem. Just sucks when all your cards rest on a late enrolling JUCO that essentially has only a month of practices and 3 months of working out to be game ready for the SEC...

I'd be much more apprehensive if he hadn't ever played D1 before. Him starting at BG during their 8-4 season can't hurt.

I think our 1st string OL will be as good as any OL Freeze has had since he's been here. Let's be real, Pierce Burton was awful. If Cooper can come in and be, at the very least, that good then we could be fine barring serious injuries.
