The thing is the UA fans don't even know. Saban is very secretive about how their numbers work. IIRC they've had several highly rated guys (only legacies that I know of) who everybody thought were on scholly that were actually paying their own way. They don't even announce when a walk-on is awarded a scholarship, if that even ever happens with their numbers.

Yeah, and the Bryant scholarship is a BS advantage as well. Honestly, I think their scholarship numbers are one big shell game. I just assume it is like playing in the commodities market. You just keep buying and selling without being stuck with the actually product. If the balls ever dropped in Tuscaloosa, I am guessing there would be more than 85 on the floor.
