I'm not pissed. My team is the blue blood and your team is... well, not.

I was just pointing out that just because he left Columbia doesn't mean that he's meeting with an agent. I would think that Marshall himself would want to be in on it as well if the deal really is that close.

Buddy Baker

"While several Missouri-based news-gathering outlets reported that Painter would take the Missouri job, Painter and his agent, Buddy Baker, began serious negotiations with Purdue officials late Monday night."

Just got done reading the transcript of Dave Matter's chat...he just doesn't see the Marshall thing having legs right now, and if I trust anyone it's Matter. But I hope he's wrong.

When we hire Coach X from Directional University, will you leave?

Marshall is wanting to keep it quite so he doesn't have to explain why he his stepping down form a final four potential program to go to Mizzou.

Obviously.

The Gruden to Tennessee rumors and theories were more entertaining, Mizzou has work to do.

I hope you're right, but something seems wrong about the AD going to the agent instead of the opposite.

That's because there is something wrong about it.

If Alden is interviewing Brian Gregory, or Mark Fox (has interviewed before), and one of these is hired I will not only leave but quit all Mizzou sports until Alden is no longer in charge

Not really, Alden is trying to contain the situation for this hire. We don't know if a potential meeting already didn't take place at Kauffman stadium on Tues during Wichita State vs. Mizzou game. Alden is not going to go directly to Wichita State, and allow a media circus to ensue.

This seems like it should be easy enough to figure out. Where was Marshall on Tuesday night, if he wasn't in Kansas City I guess we'd know.

Hell, was Alden even in KC?

Yeah, interviewing candidates around Atlanta is less plausible than meeting with an agent who has a client in Kansas.

The flight had to be cheaper to ATL than Kansas.

Also maybe the potential face to face meeting with Marshall has been put off until after Wichita State awards banquet tonight so unlike Frank Haith Marshall can leave with decency

Mizzou Alumni are truly an apathetic group, and couldn't even travel to an SEC title game let alone attend regular season games. P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C!

Tulsa wasn't going to wait on Haith.

Mizzou will wait for anyone.

I'm trying to remember if you've ever predicted something correctly. And wondering what future claim will be your first

I did correctly predict Mizzou winning the East, slaughtering Kentucky two straight seasons,... and MARSHALL TO MIZZOU
