How long do you think a sport or a school would last without sidewalk fans? I mean, bandwagon fans buy merchandise and go to games when a team is winning, then disappear when things get tough. Sidewalk fans usually stick with one team, going to games, watching on TV and buying merchandise in good times and bad.
