vs Chris Jones

They will be Sophomores in 2014, and all were highly touted recruits who made an impact as Freshmen.

2013 Stats:

Carl Lawson: 20 tackles, 7.5 for loss, 4 sacks, 7 QB hurries, 2 Forced Fumbles

Robert Nkemdiche: 34 tackles, 8 for loss, 2 sacks, 3 QB hurries, 2 Pass Breakups

A'Shawn Robinson: 38 tackles, 8 for loss, 5.5 sacks, 5 QB hurries, 1 kick blocked.

Chris Jones: 32 tackles, 7 for loss, 3 sacks, 10 QB hurries, 3 pass breakups.

Between those 4, who will be the best in 2014?

I've got Chris Jones.

Chris Jones will be the hardest to block. He might not have the better stats but he will make the biggest impact.

CJ Johnson is back on the Rebs d line, so defenses will have to make a choice who to help. This might free RN up on some passing downs when teams double CJ. I see a lot more sacks for him.

Nkemdiche's effort is underwhelming and Chris Jones is going to get double teamed a lot. I'll say Lawson because of all the one on one matchups he'll get with Auburns D-line depth.

I'm gonna go with Chris Jones.

Robert Nkemdiche won't play in as many games because I'm sure he'll do something to get suspended.

Bama and Auburn will play in enough blowouts to where the two's and three's get a lot of snaps instead of Robinson and Lawson.

That leaves Chris Jones.

They're all studs who'll be gone in two years, but I'm betting Chris Jones'll have the biggest impact next year. Statline maybe not.

Out of that bunch, I'd say Lawson is the most likely to have an eye-popping stat line since he plays almost exclusively off the edge. They're all gonna be huge (literally) assets to their respective D lines, though.

I really wish you had left off Chris Jones in the OP just to witness the MSU melt.

Nkemdiche is fat and slow, so I’ll take Lawson followed closely by Chris Jones.

All four are absolute monsters and will be first round picks/stars in the NFL one day. There's no wrong answer, but I think it'll be Chris Jones. Nkemdiche is on a stacked line with lots of experience and talent but he's playing inside now.
