Yeah, that's essentially what I was getting at. Even with the "finishing shot", as he described it, if he hadn't moved the bodies, hadn't recorded everything, and had called the cops immediately he could've given his side of the story in a way that made him not sound insane and no one could have said otherwise. No charges would have been filed, there wouldn't be a story, he'd just be sitting at home probably jacking it while thinking about shooting those kids because the dude is likely insane.
