Pretty pictures that mean nothing to you but are in fact the harbinger of doom.

I'm not a doomsaday prepper, but I do store bicycle and army helmets in the tornado closet..

Gotta store them somewhere

Since you seem to know about this stuff.

How's the outlook for OKC area this weekend? I'm currently here for work, I've been digging around and yesterday it looked pretty intense.

I don't really understand all the models, 12Z, 0Z, etc. I just want to know if I'm gonna need to get in my bathtub with a mattress this weekend. I don't think this hotel has a storm shelter.

I'm just glad there's no white sections on those graphs. The first time I ever saw white was April 2001.

I'm going to cling to my "tornadoes don't hit Fayetteville because it is guarded by ridges to the west" theory.

I hope I don't have to hire Mexicans to clean up a bunch of tree debris in my yard. Apart from that, I'm not scared.

Oh frick, debris ball in W. Little Rock/Maumelle. I have family in that area.

Best part of Little Rock, too.

Another tense day ahead for the Southeast. There's a vigerous squall line stretching through northern Arkansas into Mississippi all the way down through North La into Tx. This line should start to fade into the mid morning hours.

Watch these morning lines into the afternoon. While this is far from a certainty on how today will evolve, early afternoon yesterday saw a line of showers in northern Arkansas. The break in them was just to the north of Little Rock. So know where those boundaries are if you are in the area. They are sometimes want to focus long track supercells right along them to the south.

Be prepared my Dixie Alley folks and take heed in the SPC really backing off the doom and gloom for Tuesday.

Just heard my first rumblings of thunder here in Auburn. Don't see a lot of Tornado activity in the southern portion of the storm so I hope it stays that way.
