I live just east of Wichita Ciity Limits, with a turnpike entrance 5 minutes from my house.... I make the drive to KC at least 8 times a year, averaging 5-7 miles over posted speed limit. (My law enforcement contacts tell me this is generally safe.)

Never made the trip but thought it was longer. On a side note I did make it from east St Louis to Springfield in 3.5 hours and that was booking it and lucky as hell there were no cops on 44.

I think you missed the point. Last time, it was being reported tat Matt Painter was a done deal to come here. How'd that turn out?
