I'm good with KA and Fuller. Could be just as good as Marshall and more stable. Also good with Marshall. Option 3 sounds like Haith redux.

Works well for non blue bloods like Wisconsin.

Wisconsin has one 4 star commit and two 3 stars for this year. They had a 5 star last year and two four stars the year before that.

I agree with all this. If Fuller stays with Anderson, I'd be ok with it. No thanks on the other cat.

Anderson without Fuller is a much scarier deal no doubt

Yup, and seems to be the consensus if not this year, soon fuller will be looking for his HC gig. Rightfully so if given the opportunity.

I agree with this in theory. But it could set up a really awkward situation.

What if Alden essentially makes him head coach in waiting? Anderson is not young.

Just depends on how he feels about that. With Anderson coming in though you'd have to expect and hope for at the least 5 years from him. Long time to wait when his stock may be ready now, yeah?

It's a band aid. If it doesn't work, rip it off and have Anderson hire another recruiter.

True. Depends on what he feels. Given that he is a candidate for Florida A&M I think we find out sooner rather than later.

I only like the Anderson hire with Fuller. Obviously everybody wants Marshall, but that doesn't mean we can get him or afford him. It's going to be interesting.

Would be disgusted if this was the reason we were unable to get him.

The SEC is pouring in money hand over hand. We should be able to put out some of that to see results and up the product.

My take is pretty much the same. I would have felt better about Anderson 10 years ago. Now? I think it's really important to keep Fuller on staff with Anderson if Anderson gets the job, for at least a year or 2. If for no other reason, than I'm purely guessing, but I would imagine that Gant and Wright could be wooed by Fuller to stay with Mizzou. Without Fuller, Gant and Wright will say Anderson who? From what school?

My personal preference would be Marshall if the big money is willing to come up with it. He gives you both the coaching and the "glitzy" name that will keep and/or get recruits. Would like to keep Fuller either way, but might be difficult with Marshall who I am sure is going to want 100% say in his staff.

I see Anderson as sort of the Pinkel equivalent for Basketball, he might not make a big splash but over the years he would do the program some good.

He's already lost one assistant and may lose another, I think. So he'd at least have a slot to consider Fuller for.

Was going to do something with that.

Changed mind.

Read somewhere that another assistant is under consideration for the Southern Miss job too.
