I could understand the ADs not wanting to potentially lose a home game every other year but I really don't see the coaches issue. Saban's been pushing for a 9 game conference schedule for a long time but he was the only one to support it last.

Maybe they just like being able to blame Alabama's success on the schedule.....

Well, it really doesn't disrupt Bama's schedule all that much. They just likely wouldn't schedule their annual "big" OOC neutral game.
For a team like UGA, USC, and FSU with longstanding OOC annual rivals, it would mean a tougher schedule than most others in the SEC. Especially in the case of UGA and UF that have secondary OOC rivals ( Clemson and MIami), it would definitely mean an end to those games unless they met in a playoff. I don't mind the 9 game schedule. I think it is better than not playing half the conference very often. I actually like the roommate switch option.
